Terms & Conditions

1. Who we are
FlashCardRead is operated by Kim Parra ("we", "us", "our"), located in the United States. You can reach us at parrakim7@gmail.com.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
2. The service
FlashCardRead provides online reading, spelling, and writing practice for learners in grades K–12, including flashing word sets, writing practice, word games, fluency checks, and progress reporting. Access is sold as a subscription and delivered digitally through this website. We may add, change, or retire features to improve the program.
3. Accounts
Accounts are intended for parents, guardians, or educators aged 18 or over, who may set up practice for children under their supervision. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity on your account. Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
4. Subscriptions, billing, and cancellation
Subscription prices are shown on our pricing page before you pay. Recurring plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period using your saved payment method until you cancel. You may cancel at any time from your account page or by emailing us; cancellation stops future renewals and access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for. Taxes are calculated and collected by Paddle where applicable.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- share, resell, sublicense, or publicly broadcast your account or our content;
- copy, scrape, or redistribute word sets, videos, or lesson materials;
- reverse engineer, probe, overload, or interfere with the site, its security, or other users' access;
- upload unlawful, abusive, harassing, or infringing material to community areas;
- use the service for any unlawful purpose or in breach of these terms.
6. Intellectual property
All curriculum, word lists, sentences, videos, audio, graphics, software, and branding on FlashCardRead are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by copyright and trademark law. Your subscription grants a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the materials for one household's or classroom's own learning. All other rights are reserved. Content you post in community areas remains yours, but you grant us a licence to display and moderate it on the site.
7. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access, with or without notice, if you breach these terms, misuse the service, attempt to defraud us or our payment provider, or if we are required to do so by law. Where a suspension is not due to your breach, we will refund the unused portion of your current billing period. You may stop using the service and close your account at any time.
8. Disclaimers and liability
FlashCardRead is an educational practice program. It is not a medical, diagnostic, or psychological service, and results vary from learner to learner. The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
9. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; material changes will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date, and continued use means you accept them. These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law rules.
